Oxity Bank Note Road Rallye Rules
First and foremost, you do not need to break any laws in order to win this rallye.
This rally is conducted in accordance with the 2006 SCCA RoadRally Rules (RRRs) and the Oxity Road Rallye Regulations as modified and/or amended by these General Instructions and any addenda. Entrants in this rally signify their familiarity with the RRRs and agreement to be bound by them. The RRRs are available online and from the SCCA Merchandise Department at http://www.scca.org. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or controlled substances are prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages will be allowed for patrons of legal drinking age on the premise of FUR night club. Violators will be disqualified immediately.
Each team must complete an emergency notification form. Event officials will perform vehicle inspection and qualification on each teams' vehicle. This is required in order to receive route instructions. Contestants will be required to sign all releases in accordance with American Indoor Karting to be eligible for the kart racing portion of the event. A Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement also must be signed.
Each team will be handed a route sheet. This route sheet will contain directions on how to navigate through the pre-selected course. The Rally was measured with an Alfa Elite Rally Computer with pickup from the right rear (undriven) wheel of a Scion tC. The course was driven at rally speeds (legal limit). Rear tires were inflated to 33 PSI cold. Mileages were recorded to .001 mile. Calculations were performed to .001 mile. At intersections, mileages were taken at the road naming sign closest to the intersection.
Point penalties and procedures will be given in the general packet after registration and will be explained again at the time of the event beginning.
