How to Win
The Oxity Bank Note Road Rallye is a competition t/s/d style road rallye governed by the 2006 SCCA RoadRally Rules (RRRs) and admendments made by Oxity Inc. A points based system is used to determine the winning team. Time trial competition karting will also be used in combination with the road rallye to allow teams to gain a slight advantage prior to the start of the rallye by being faster on the indoor karting track.
Karting Competition: One person from each team will compete for the fastest times against the other teams from the event. The team which completes one lap in the fastest time out of their total number of runs will be given 10 points to use to their advantage, they can subtract or add up to 10 points to their final score. The team must decide how to use the points once they reach the final check point and can not be given their score until turning this information into an event official. Teams will have the option of not using the points. The second fastest team will receive 9 points to use at their decision; third fastest team will receive 8 and so forth. Points will be given up to the tenth fastest team. Teams that did not place in the top ten fastest lap times will not have a negative effect placed on the outcome of the event. Lap times will be determined using American Indoor Karting’s official lap timing system.
Road Rallye Competition: Teams will compete for the most accurate final time of completion of the Road Rallye. A third party will judge the results of this competition. A 2005 SCCA RoadRally Rules rule book will be given to participants at the time of sign-up. The winning team will be awarded the grand prize, 15x payout on their wager amount.
